      Good show guys.

Absolutely looking forward to Incredible Hercules. The drunk thing was alright when Ostrander introduced it back during his Heroes for Hire run. But in the years since it had went from a storyline to his status quo and was just really lame.

So let's keep Herc in AA and hopefully he'll have a good long run.

iTunes has been unable to sync the last couple podcasts of The Stack with my iPhone; the error message says that it is not playable on my iPhone. What!? I've been viewing these on my iPhone since last summer. Please assist me! Thanks.

    • plasticbugs wrote on January 15, 2:12 pm

We're fixing these last two episodes right now and we'll try to make sure this doesn't happen again. Sorry for the inconvenience. Don't worry, it's not your iPod. It's the show that wasn't exported properly.

    • richbob wrote on January 14, 9:25 pm

Haven't been reading Penance, but you guys have me curious. Right on re: Herc and Iron Fist. Good stuff.

I think I had the same look on my face as Pete when Justin dropped the chocodog comment. WTH?

    • Crazy wrote on January 14, 11:54 pm

I've been reading Penance. Didn't get the latest issue yet though. I really have enjoyed it, and though I do miss the happy, bouncing Speedball, I like this crazy, cracked, mentally scarred Penance.

    • TheNextChampion (anon) wrote on January 14, 11:58 pm

Waaay too much product placement in this episode. Too much Newsarama, Rambo, no viewer mail for this guy who I never heard of? Plus chocolate Cake and dogs...lol

Seriously there is too much product placement. I want more comic reviews and less of talking about other sites and shows. I remember a time when reviews would be 4-5 minutes long...Now its like 30 seconds and the show is over too quickly. Try and fix it for the next show please.

    • TheNextChampion (anon) wrote on January 15, 12:08 am

Plus that whole Persopolis run....which granted is a good book...took about a minute into the show...lame. Guess you couldnt just annouce it on the blog and leave it at that?

Theres something about the name goggleburn thats vaguely disturbing, it may have something to do with why my ex wouldnt let me eat wasabi...

    • Strobot (anon) wrote on January 15, 2:54 am

... and someone typoed the link to goggleburn as googleburn on the right side of this page.

    • plasticbugs wrote on January 15, 2:15 pm

      @ strobot:
Nice catch. Thanks for the heads up - I fixed it.

i liked the story of Iron Fist and the covers are cool but the interior art blows!!!!!!!

    • Strobot wrote on January 15, 2:42 pm

That's odd. David Aja has been doing the covers and interior art.

    • Apocrypha wrote on January 16, 7:16 pm

I think David Aja is a great artist for Immortal Iron Fist. His style really fits well with the tone of the book so far. To the person who said they liked the covers but thought the interior art sucked....David Aja does the covers too.

    • Bombardem wrote on January 16, 8:34 pm

Actually, he doesnt do all the covers

    • Strobot wrote on January 17, 12:55 am

OK, I didn't check all of them.

    • xxsuperboyxx wrote on January 17, 10:22 am

it just seems like a serious jump from the covers that look like he took all the time in the world and the interior art looks rushed. If the inside art was more like the covers i'd love the series and have no complaints. It's kinda like the detective comics covers with amazing art and then you open it up and it's not even a tenth of what the covers are...

Can't wait for the next Incredible Herc. I liked the first issue of it, and am looking forward to the continuing story. Haven't read any of the other books talked about.

Like Alex, I'm also not a fan of Iron Fist. The character has just never appealed to me, and I doubt any fantastic writing or artistry could change that.

Also, I don't see why so many people like Dinosaur Comics... I just don't find them funny. My favorite webcomics are Sinfest, Commissioned Comics, Extralife, Least I Could Do...

and the one that I write and draw at www.getalifecomic.com

      /shameless plug

Anyways. Great show guys. Product placement doesn't bother me. I know you guys need the money to continue making the show and I like to see this kind of stuff, except for the Rambo thing, which I just skip.

    • omechron wrote on January 15, 10:54 pm

I just want you guys to know that Penance had somehow managed to slide totally under my radar. I was literally not even aware of its existence. I would probably have missed out on it entirely if it weren't for you guys. Thanks a million.

THANK YOU!!!! 2 versions showed up in itunes, and both played on the 360 on my 50" widescreen and the higher-def one looked great (and played! yay!) while the other is still great on the ipod touch. Can I get a w00t w00t?

Also, the ASM continuity sucks. I have the first 500 on cd, god knows how many stacked up here in the house, but I'm stopping now until they come back to their senses. WTF is this supposed to mean in the whole Civil War context, as much as I hated the fact that Cap died and the scumbag fascist (IM) was victorious? And dragging out some third string version of the devil to make a pact with? This sort of crap is why I can't stomach anything other than wolvie from the x-team (altho the astonishing has had some moments for sure).

Criminal? The Boys? The Killer? Anything IDW or ONI? Talk amongst yourselve, I'm all verklempt...

What? No love for PVP? Best Web-comic hands down www.pvponline.com

    • dane wrote on January 16, 3:27 pm

Do you guys have assigned seating?

    • Apocrypha wrote on January 16, 7:13 pm

I have to agree with the comment about the lack of indie comics reviewed. There are plenty of good indie comics (and some not so good) that could do with a "sucks" or "lame" review from Pete. ;-) hehe

Seriously, though. It would be nice to see more indie titles talked about. The big 2 always get all the press and airtime. Let's give some to the little guys.

    • richbob wrote on January 17, 2:18 am

The Pulp Secret guys can speak for themselves, but there's usually an indie reviewed on just about every show. Not just in the speed round either. They are often Image and Dark Horse books though, if you don't consider them indie anymore.

    • jcandram wrote on January 22, 2:58 pm

just discovered you guys, Your little goofy but no different than talking with your friend about comics. keep going I'll be checking you guy more.
