Thanks for putting this vid up. Rags Morales kicks ass and a half. I loved his work on Identity Crisis and love his work on Nightwing. Looking forward to more from him. Loved the talk he did of the golden area in his covers. Awesome!!!

Having never read Nightwing, Rags might just get me to try it. Anyone know how this book has been since he started? Which ish too please?

John seems like a really good interviewer. Stack guys need to be that relaxed while interviewing. You need to work on that person running your camera too. Sorry dude, whoever you are.

      IJones.

Rags Morales started on Nightwing #140 (a January issue). At first, it was a rotating artist thing between he and artist Don Kramer (great guy who looked at my portfolio and gave me a lot of encouragement). Normaly, the rotating artists in a comic tend to bother me, but in this case it seemed almost seemless given that their artstyles are very similar. The writing by Peter Tomasi is cool. He seems to have an incredible grasp of the character of Dick Grayson/Nightwing and puts him into a sweeping series of adventures. The likes of which I cannot (at present) remember Nightwing being put through in this way. He really does an incredible job of making Nightwing seem like an important character in the D.C. Universe rather than just being the guy who used to be Robin.

By all means, give Nightwing a try. It's a cool book and worth the bank you plunk down for it.

      ---Later!

Thanks Steven, I'll be giving this one a try!

Wow, Don Kramer! I use to love his stuff when he was doing Batman, or was it Detective? Maybe both?

It was really more of a Rags Special than a Nightwing Special. Not that i'm complaining cos i love the character and i love the artist.

I'm really glad Nightwing is getting his due these days. He's been around the entire time, yet his book was disrespected for the longest time, whether it be Devin Grayson's delusional fanboys ravings, Bruce Jones' himbo model variant or Marv Wolfman's much hyped mediocrity. FINALLY we've got a guy like Pete Tomasi who realises what Nightwing can be.

If it's possible, could you guys review the series more on the show itself? It maybe gets an odd mention in the speed round once in awhile, but it's really becoming a standout book and more people need to be made aware of that.
