Man, I seem like such a nitwit in this video. It was my first portfoilio review... EVER. So, I got better after that, I swear.
Though I tend to follow the writing aspect of comics, I really enjoyed this. It's interesting to see what editors look for that you would never think to think about: anatomy, fluid motion, depth, all of it is so intriguing. Hope to see more of these down the line.
man, its crazy how they keep hitting on the anatomy of things. Of all the art classes i have taken, these two dudes sound like every life drawing teacher i have ever had.
Great feature!
Fantastic! I love to see stuff like this. Especially as an aspiring artist myself, this was very eye-opening and insightful. THANK YOU!!
Parp secret?
First off, could those guys from Marvel have seemed less excited or interested in doing this?
Second, was Pete drunk?
The actual critique was pretty cool, though if we could have seen what he was critiquing it may have been more interesting. I dont remember seeing any of that art of Manny's before, pretty sweet. Is that on the Pulp Art section somewhere?
Your comment, Mr. White, had me rolling! I was wondering about you...snicker. Nice to know you got better!
Pete, do these things sober man.
Very informative though. Thanks.
Don't knock Pete if he pulled a Tony Stark and had some fortification before. and hey, HE's not the Ultimate human...
I'm an artist gearing up for an some upcoming convention action. I'm hoping to show my pencils to guys like these at Marvel and D.C. I want to take this time to issue a thank you to pulpsecret.com for putting this vid up. It's cool to see this since it gives guys like me the opportunity to see what is expected of me and what they are looking for.
Many thank yous to pulp secret!!!
YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!
Thanks a lot
