I also like that Pete's actually getting a chance to speak instead of being cut off all the time.
You should spoiler alert before each issue if you want to talk about the content of the stories, because otherwise the reviews seem kind of vague.
You should also talk more about sex.

Didnt you guys just say cancel Dectective Comics last episode? I'm confused cause you recommended this issue...Oh well either way I love Dini and his work so I already read it...So :P
That question was just disturbing....This isnt really a formal area of discussion...But yeah Countdown is shit, the only DC title I will NEVER recommend.
Allow me to explain: I think the character general thrust of the Batman books in general need a break to recenter the character and figure out which direction he's heading in. It's become so garbled lately that i think the storytelling is suffering. Maybe that's what Batman RIP is going to do...
I recommended this issue because on an issue by issue basis, some of the stories are good. Case in point.
Oh I definitely think that's what Batman R.I.P. will do. It will make a definite reason on why Batman should exsist and how it will direct the next couple of years for his titles.
But I like Detective Comics because it's not too depressing or serious. Although I like Morrison's run, I just think Dini makes good mystery's and brings much needed humor to the character. Maybe it will recenter when R.I.P. is done, but I just hope Dini never leaves the title. Batman is pretty much all he can do.

Hey. Here's a wild thought... you don't necessarily HAVE to be the opposite sex to have sex with someone. You know Bruce still likes to order Grayson to the Bat-pole, when he comes over to visit. Why don't you guys get over the awkward-ness of sex (hetero or homo) and embrace pleasure in all its forms? If Hulk wants to smash, take it like a man... Seriously, the fact you had to ask the question of having sex with a same-sex character by "softening" it in terms of - "if you were the opposite sex..." - was a little insulting to the homosexual community. And... to be frank, was quite telling. I guess you guys feel more comfortable with transgenderism (or becoming a woman) than you do with having sex like a man with another man. Hmmm.
Just to be clear: I didn't mean my response in a homophobic way. I just generally find it disturbing when people talk about wanting to have sex with comic characters - and more so when they give actual thought-out responses. (Funny,yes...but still disturbing).

Interesting show as always -- the viewer question, as soon as you can get past the homophobic cringe factor, is interesting too. You guys picked partners who would be all about the power and not the sensitivity and sharing that lovemaking should have (yeah, this is fictional). And the commenters who suggested Mr. Fantastic -- probably too floppy. Sue can't be satisfied.

Man that was the best episode ever i was on the floor man i was crying it was so funny. Its hard for me to watch any other web comic shows there all so boring everyweek yall entertain like no other but this one episode far and away takes the cake. Thanks keep having fun we will all keep watching.
