Only book I read that you guys talked about was ASM. I'm still on the fence about this series. Some of it I really like, but half the time I still want to rip the comic in half and punch Quesada in the throat. Thiis occurs mainly when Jackpot says "tiger".

Also, you guys should seriously see about hiring that chick in the video at the end. She talks like she's stoned, but I still couldn't help watching her three or four times. Good stuff.

I vote in firing Pete and replacing him with the youtube girl. Pete my man, please give better reviews rather than just saying it's great or it sucks. Also it would help if you had on your web site beside the video what Alex, Justin, and Pete are currently reading.

I'm almost surprised that Pete was into the talky-talky-talky New Avengers #38. I was a little puzzled by it, really. I can imagine it reading better in a TPB than as a single issue.

The user video from OdouglasJ was really interesting and informative. Nice history lesson!

I totally agree with adding erislaughs to the cast, its hard to find a good woman and she seems like a keeper. A little estrogen in the show wouldn't hurt either.
You can't get rid of Pete though he's the id to Justin's ego and Alex's super-ego. It just wouldn't be the same.
But I also think Pete should wear the monkey suit for every episode, so what do I know.

I don't know what is with the hate-on with Pete. He is my favorite reviewer of the three... I pretty much agree with nearly every comic he critiques.

Oh and I don't think the Stack needs a chick... I think the current three reviewer opinions counter-balance each other perfectly.

All that being said, I think the extra dramatics and effects in the last two episodes are distracting, and I preferred the more conventional format.

Eris is always awesome, that's why i subscribed to her on Youtube. On the topic of the video however, I'm glad the trade of Umbrella Academy will come out some time soon as I was a chump and missed the run cause I was out of the comics loop when it started. HUZZAH! Great episode as always.

Where is Alex? Seriously. The guy is the glue that holds The Stack Together. He's the staples that keep the show's spine from falling apart. Re-animate him at once. As for Erislaughts, she's a bit of a comic chick cliche for my taste.

Maybe it's just me but I don't really want to see videos of people giving sort of pseudo reviews of their comics they bought this week (or any week) unless it's you guys. I really don't care so, speaking for myself of course, it would be nice if you didn't use those. Something more interesting would be preferred like the guy with the "first computer drawn comic". He didn't say what it was like which is good because I didn't care. :-)

I have a question. What would you say is one of your rarest comics, excluding those from Marvel & DC, and it doesn't necessarily have to be worth a lot of money.
For instance I have a book from '93 called Doorman. Only one issue ever came out as far as I know. It was from Cult Press. The entry for it on comicspriceguide.com uses words like "ashcan" for #2 and "may not exist" for #3, but they definitely list #1 without any caveat. :-) No cover pic though. As if that wasn't good enough I have #1 of this book with a hand drawn cover by the creator. Black background with the main character drawn with one of those gold ink pens on top. I have no idea where it came from and I'm pretty sure it's quite worthless except for maybe sentimental value to the creator. :-)

PS: The girl was cute but she didn't really have anything to say. Sorry. Maybe if she had a different schtick? I dunno. Or maybe you don't get that many video entries perhaps?

New Avengers #38 was a nice slow issue but I don't understand what Spider-Man was doing in it.

Umbrella Academy was nothing short of amazing. I can't wait to see what comes next! I recently picked up the first collection of 100 bullets and was in shock of how good it was. What do you guys think of it?
