Booster has been pretty good, if LaPage actually read it he'd know..

YEAH! Pete comes around to the Buffyverse! Wait...isn't that a sign of the apocalypse? And Alex...gotta agree: baby impression = creepy indeed. (Of course, Justin's use of the term "chest babies" is awkward in and of itself)

I was wondering what you guys think of the current Countdown to Mystery series with Eclipso and the new Dr. Fate? I personally am really enjoying it. Good art, engaging story. I didn't expect to like it as much as I do - and much more than Countdown to Adventure.

Hooray!! Ten minute show with only a ten second ad for Persopolis equals...A very good show! I told you having little ad's as possible would make it good again! I dont mind the Newsarama stuff as much, since your just saying it and not linger on it...But year great show, you guys were alittle bit more indepth with the books. Maybe if it was still alittle bit longer of a show it would be back to being perfect. But thank you for listen to us guys!

My favorite comic guilty pleasure is Max's Punisher title. Maybe its because of the constant swearing, or head explosions on every page, or just maybe that Punisher is still not one of the most liked hero in the world like he once was...But its still an awesome title and its been on for 55+ issues, so that's gotta count for something. I never thought I could get into Sin City because of how radically different it is to most comics. The black and white aspect didnt hook with me and overall I thought the stories were actually confusing. But once the movie came out I gave it another try and now I'm hooked! Got all the stories and am looking forward to a sequal of the film in the coming years.

Seriously, I couldnt think of anything positive to say about the show, so I'm just gonna shut up.

whats with all the Marvel this week guys

    • Alexander Zalben wrote on January 21, 9:59 pm

For the preview issues, it's a litttttle easier to get Marvel titles, hence the Marvel heavy first half. We made an all non-Marvel Speed Round for y'all though, and are working on mixing up the preview issues we're gettin'. Hope that helps explain it!

Only Marvel books came down the pipeline for our preview review. Other non-Marvel books of note: DMZ was a nice read and Nathan Fox's art is top notch though I'm with Pete, let's get back to Matty. The Sword #4 is decent though Luna Bros. are all over the place and 1976 #1 from image is a solid first issue.

Really great show guys. Only book I've read (or plan to read) was Resurrection, and I agree with Justin on it. Taking a while to pick up, but I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Reminds me a lot of Walking Dead

i tend to read a lot of what bongo comics puts out ..which seems to be aimed at a more juvenile audience.....guilty pleasure or not

      fun show, good times...

How the hell do you guys talk about the Fantastic Four without going to Pete for the inside scoop? The shirt clearly states his affiliation with the group!
