Wow! That's a great list! The only thing I will say is that I was a little let down by the ending of World War Hulk. Maybe it's partly because I'm not a big "Sentry " fan and also because of the reveal of the traitor (I won't say more than that lest I spoil it for someone who still hasn't read it). Still, some priceless smashy goodness with great art!

Good list, though I have a feeling you'll be the only reviewers in the business to pick Buffy in the top 5. Have you guys even mentioned that book in a Stack this season? I thought you might pick Mouse Guard. Ed Brubaker is definitely the man this year (and lives just up the road from me apparently). I think he actually needs to slow down a little bit, he's writing nearly 10 books a month now with regular series+minis+solo projects, and he's going to be running around to every convention this year as well as other interviews like yours.

Justice Society of America = best relaunch of 07. I laughed, I cried, it was good times.

No mention of The Ultimates 2 by Mark Millar and Bryan Hitch? I know the constant delays took away some of the enjoyment but the book was heads and shoulders above anything in the superhero genre in the last several years.

Oh, totally. Ultimates 2 was, hands down, the best title of 2005! Can't believe we forgot :)

Well, Alex seems to love Scott Pilgrim like Pete loves Hack/Slash, or the way Justin loves tiny, tiny T-shirts. Guess it just didn't make the year's top 5. Sure does seem like a certain panelist coerced the others into including Buffy though...

Cough. I have no idea what you're talking about re: Buffy... Cough.

As for Powers, we all love it, we just (for no particular reason) don't read it as regularly as we should. Last three issues have been killer, though.
