great show. I think you should make them a bit longer. That way you could fit the comic reviews and witty banter and maybe talk about some of the things you mention in your blogs too.
ps Afleck was the bomb in Phantoms

Hilarious show, but seriously what was with Alex's shirt?
As for classic vs original, I think Spider-Man 1 was a great example of how both can work. The battle with Norman resulting in his death was a beautiful recreation of the classic fight. The wrestling scene was very well done too. But other facets of the movie were original and changes from the classic story, and they were great too. I've been wanting to see Kraven's Last Hunt adapted for the 4th film. I think it would be perfect, plus wasnt the Lizard originally involved in the Kraven storylines? It would be good to finally see the connors storyline come to fruition.

FINALLY...a show that combines comics and Good Will Hunting!

I'm new to Pulp Secret but I think it's great to have shows devoted to comics like this. You guys manage to make it equal parts entertaining and enlightening. (But c'mon Pete...you had to know you were going to get the gears for giving a review on a comic you didn't read!)

      Snoogins.

There ARE actually different transformers story arcs. Transformers wasnt just the first 13 episodes that everyone seems to only remember. There were four seasons and in Japan the storyline took a different path etc, etc.

You probably right, but if you ever want to get laid you may want to keep that info to yourself

you guys are awesome, great show.
I was wondering though, since movie companies are buying up the rights to just about every comic, are there any comics you think just should not be made into a movie, and what comic movie are you looking forward to the most?

Great show as always guys. But I must agree that Marvel Zombies 2 is a good series. It's not as great as the original but I feel that they are trying to make some story out of this ridiculous plot. I'm fine with the Good Will Hunting references...just try not to go into the Patch Adams references, I dont need nightmares this week. >_

I get The Stack on my TiVo, and love it. But, someone needs to even out the audio levels. The guys go from hard-to-hear mumbling to wake-up-the-baby shouting, and it is maddening to try to watch late at night, because of the aforementioned baby. Thanks.

    • alexstack wrote on December 7, 9:37 am

That's not the audio levels... That's just how Justin normally speaks.

    • David P. Levin wrote on December 7, 10:23 am

I solve that problem by simply pressing the mute button. I dont need to actually hear these guys - I like to watch them. They're dreamy. Especially Pete.

babies of the world need to rise up out of their cribs and experience the world, not spend the whole night lazily sleeping.

Does that last comment make it obvious I don't have a baby?

That may well have been the funniest episode yet. Great show, fellas!

Love the show guys. I see it on my TiVo and you're always pointing down and telling me to comment there, but there's only my TiVo there. Then I thought, maybe the meaning would become clear if I went online, and alas, it has!
Oh, I also wanted to suggest that you do a show with green, or blue (what ever your backround is) body suits so you're only heads and hands. I would chuckle.

hey i just want to say thanx for the show. i had been away from comics for a while and the stack has really helped me get back in without being to confused. i also have a question

with the end of JLU (which made me cry) probably being the end of the entire DCAU, what are your views on the DCAU in general, and should they try to bring it back?

    • xxsuperboyxx wrote on December 8, 10:43 am

Good show! I would love to see the Batman hush series made into a movie!

      Will: Fuck you.
      Sean: You're the shepherd.

What do you guys think about Salvation Run?

    • jmsnyder wrote on December 17, 12:13 am

Just watched the Marvel Zombies 2, Trials of Shazam episode in which you guys answered the question what classic arc you would like to see made into a comic movie. 1st of all I could not agree more with Kravens Last Hunt (which is actually called Fearful Symetry) but one that I think is a movie that is just waiting to be made is The Son of Man arc from Hellblazer. I know that Keanu killed the possibility of any more Constantine related flick but Oh my god would that be a stellar movie and I know LePage would agree with me because I know he is a huge Ennis fan. And one other aside. For god sakes let LePage talk. He is the one on your show that has the tastes of the majority of the comic buying public. When Cameron was in Egypt land, let my Petey GOOOOOOOOOO1
