Okay, at this point, X-Men Origins: Wolverine is looking more packed with mutants than X3. Which seems fairly inconceivable, right? As it's a solo movie? Having a fair idea of the plot of the flick, I can't quite figure out where all these extra mutants show up, unless they're split second cameos, rather than full fledged speaking parts. For your edification, I'm going to give you the current cast list here. First, of course, is Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, but then, you knew that:

      Then, there's just...

    • Comic Book Reviews: Invincible #48, JLA #18 and Superman Confidential #12

More Newsarama Sneak Reviews coming your way!

For this episode, we got our hands on Invincible #48, where we found a nice assortment of regulars from the Image universe. Atom Eve is back and although this book is short on story, we still recommending picking it up.

Justice League of America #18 is a follow-up on the story line where the villains were sent to prison on another planet. It's a decent issue but we think it serves as filler and hope there's better stuff coming.

      Then in Superman Confidential...

This is probably going to get pulled soon, given that it no longer exists on the official site, so watch it while you can:

Sort of like a mix between X3 and Days of Future Past, huh? With a little Messiah CompleX thrown in?

Spoil Wow! Things are getting crazy in Wolverine’s world. So our boy made a deal, he gets his soul back. But he lost a lot of his healing factor and if he dies it is for real. No more coming back from the dead! Not bad and they didn’t have to ruin a whole lot of back-story that the reader really cares about and believes in. This comic has been a little confusing with all the who’s who and the going back in time. And ending the comic with a line from Bruce Springsteen was a little lame, but now is a...

    • Angel: After the Fall, The Incredible Herc, and The Order

POSTED BY ALEX ZALBEN, DECEMBER 27 2007 11:09 AM | PERMALINK

The first issue of the new series The Incredible Herc hits the stores with characters based on Greek mythology. We think it's worth picking up, find out why. We were pretty critical of Special Forces #1, does Issue 2 show signs of this book getting better? Alex says The Order, written by Matt Fraction is the best bang for your buck on the stands today.

Plus we've got Army @ Love, Wolverine: Firebreak and Angel: After the Fall and more in our speed round.

Then, in our mailbag we answer a tough one: If we...
