      Remember about a month ago when director Joe Carnahan put a little tease on his blog, with a picture of the Juggernaut, and fueled speculation that he'll be directing a DVD movie of the character? Turns out, he's actually writing a Taskmaster mini-series! Whabuhhuh?

      Turns out, he was talking to Marvel about a Juggernaut mini-series, but that would have conflicted with "big plans" for the character (oh, really?), so instead, he defaulted to Taskmaster. According to his official blog:

      Okay, nobody freak out yet... X-Men Origins: Wolverine is still heading to your movie theaters, as is (probably) Magneto.

      However, rumors have flooded the net in the past 24 hours that there will be several other X-Men Origins movies, focusing on other characters, and they'll head direct to DVD.

      Personally, I'm a little mixed on this news; Direct to DVD doesn't have the same hate-stamp it used to, but neither is it a stunning endorsement of the material. Additionally, I'm coming around to the...
