Fans of NBC's Heroes now have a chance to influence the cast of the upcoming season of Heroes. Fans can vote on their favorite new characters in the Heroes online graphic novel. The character of Hana Gitelman was the first such popular character online to make the leap to the live action TV show. The Heroes online graphic novel will fill the summer programming void till the September premiere of Season 3. Those who have already read the online graphic novel know that it has provided some...

    • A NYCC Rookie Journal

POSTED BY CHARLIE SCHNEIDER, APRIL 19 2008 09:55 PM | PERMALINK

This is my second trip to a comic con and my first trip to NYCC.  I didn't know what to expect after having been to San Diego Comic Con back in 2006, but I knew it would be a lot of fun.  This is also my first year as a member of the press, meaning that as much as I'm here to enjoy myself, I'm also here to shuck and jive for my lunch.  Friday was great, I spent the whole day with Pete, John, and our film crew (Steve and Scott) on the show floor interviewing movie stars and comic book titans.  For a...

    • Prince of Heroes

POSTED BY PETE LEPAGE, JANUARY 26 2008 11:29 AM | PERMALINK

Well most of this issue deals with the world that this comic takes place in. That being said it is a pretty cool world. Unlike Spaceballs this guy knows he is a prince. He might look all nicey, but he is one tough dude. If you like splash pages, then this issue is for you. Not action splash pages, but big pictures of places, ships, and the world from space. So this comic is a little more expensive and takes about two seconds to read, but it was enjoyable.

      Dear Heroes fans,

If the writers finish their strike at some point in our generation then you may be able to see more than just this Heroes Season III teaser trailer:

Tim Kring debuted it at the Jules Verne Adventure Film Festival in LA. It doesn't whet a lot of your appetite but we can be sure Sylar will be well dressed this season.

    • "Cloverfield"/"Heroes" Crossover

POSTED BY ALEX ZALBEN, NOVEMBER 28 2007 02:00 PM | PERMALINK

Well, I totally missed this one. Slusho, the frosty drink that's leading the viral campaign for J.J. Abrams monster mash, Cloverfield, has appeared several times on Heroes. In this week's episode, it featured prominently in a bit of physical comedy* with Kristen Bell's character, Elle.

      Okay, so check this out:

      - Lost and Alias clearly take place in the same universe, as they're J.J. Abrams shows, there's been multiples references in Alias to various bits of Lost stuff (including references...

    • Your Heroes Fix

POSTED BY ALEX ZALBEN, NOVEMBER 07 2007 02:00 PM | PERMALINK

Don't have enough with your favorite Heroes once a week? Worried about what you'll do if the show only goes 11 episodes this season (as rumored)? Then, I have a solution for you! Or rather, Adrian "Frying Man" Pasdar has a solution for you.

Not content to let the plebs take over the internet with terrible camera work and shoddy content, Pasdar has set up his own YouTube account, taking behind the scenes footage of his fellow Heroes stars in their off moments.

This has actually been going on for...

    • D.C. Lands Heroes License

      POSTED BY , JULY 27 2007 03:00 PM | PERMALINK

D.C. Comics has landed another huge license after nabbing the World of Warcraft property earlier this week, following an announcement that they would handle the rather inevitable comic treatment of the massively popular superhero-themed show Heroes.

The hardcover collection will translate the 43 comic stories featured on the Heroes website last season. Also noteworthy is that the cover art duty will be handled by two of the masters of the art, Jim Lee and Alex Ross. The transcendent beauty of Ross’s...
