      An "Evening with Neil Gaiman" began with Bill Hader telling stories about how Neil Gaiman's work has influenced his life and his comedy. He said that he did his first audition for Saturday Night Live with a copy of Sandman in his back pocket, and at each subsequent audition after that. Obviously Neil Gaiman not only wrote awesome literature, he also served as a great source of good fortune. Hader then said that it was because of their shared love of Neil Gaiman that Seth Rogen hired him to work...

      Anybody want to hang out with Neil Gaiman? Looks like we'd better get in line now. He's coming to New York Comic-Con to do a private reading to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF). The event is ticket-only and limited to a very very few number of people. Looks like I'd better scan the crowd for scalpers. Even if you don't know a lot about Gaiman, you've probably heard of his work (which always speaks for itself).
