The comic strip Garfield just turned 29. That's 29 years of the depressed single cat owner Jon, 29 years of the soulless punching bag dog Odie, 29 years of abuse for the innocent kitten Nermil and 29 years of the biting, sardonic observations from an overweight, vindictive cat.
