Pulp Secret Report

"Comic Foundry" Magazine hits stores this week, two weeks earlier than expected! I'm excited for this magazine, I've loved the website for awhile now, and I'm glad that a new magazine is coming into the field and playing towards the fanboys that aren't uber-geeks that read "Wizard," or the snobs that read "Comics Journal," but are the more pop culture geeks, that watch "Heroes" every week, but couldn't name all the different Marvel Universes.

I love how a sleekly designed magazine like "Comic Foundry" is hitting the stands, and trying to reach a broader audience, much like the magazine, "Geek." The only thing that worries me is the magazine industry as a whole. Thanks to the internet, the industry is floundering, magazines are closing doors left and right ("Jane," "Radar"), and even though I'm rootin' full force for "Comic Foundry," I just hope it doesn't go the way of the magazinosaurus. The first issue will be on stands this Wednesday, with an exclusive interview with Kristen Bell, so go out and buy it so we can keep the comic book magazines alive!
