Heroes Returns
Next season, the title of this post will be "Heroes Forever," followed by "Heroes & Robin."
More to the point, the Heroes have returned to the set, and shooting has begun on the second season. A couple of tidbits have emerged... Sort of spoilers, I guess, so if you don't want to know anything don't read comic books. I mean, don't keep reading this post:
- Hiro will be stuck in early Japan for at least the first few episodes.
- Sylar isn't dead (surprise?), and will be a regular cast member next season.
- The Petrelli Bros. are also most likely back (again, surprise?), and have different haircuts.
- Heroes: Origins, contrary to previous reports, will be broadcast after the second season of it's daddy show ends in April. That means NBC is using Heroes: Origins as it's May sweeps show, which is a unique strategy, if you're interested in that sort of thing.
- One actually surprising tidbit: David Anders, who you may remember as the delightfully evil Sark from Alias, will play Hiro's idol Takezo Kensei. And, you know, David Anders is definitely not Japanese.
- If you live anywhere on Planet Earth, you'll be able to catch the Heroes World Tour this summer. Join your favorite heroes as they sign DVDs!
