World War Hulk Smash
Aspen Comics released a Michael Turner drawn variant cover for Marvel's kickoff to the summer epic World War Hulk. Let's break it down!
1. Is Spiderwoman going to play a pivotal role in this battle? With her spider stings? Or does she just look pretty at the top of the pyramid?
2. What Ghost Rider is thinking in this picture: "1993! 'Member that guys! You guys want to stop by my place later on? Me and a bunch of Valiant heroes are hanging out and...No? Turok the Dinosaur Hunter is going to be there!"
3. In my experience, the Sentry spends a lot of time lighting up his belt and not a lot of time doing anything in the Marvel universe. He's had two great mini-series that really fleshed out his character but the only work he can get is doing Thor impressions on the outskirts of major Marvel events. Maybe this time?
4. Dr. Strange's hands look mighty fragile...
5. Does The Punisher ever wonder if his unending quest for vengeance for the murder of his family really includes awkwardly bouncing bullets off of the Hulk's gamma irradiated pectoral muscles? I guess it might make him feel better.
