Another Year in "Smallville"
In the spirit of keeping a very D.C. week of news going, let's talk about the upcoming seventh season of Smallville. IF Magazine recently interviewed producer Al Gough to get some interesting information regarding the show and what to expect while watching this season.
The real Supergirl shows up this season, not the "ruse" Supergirl from season three. Additionally, the original actress that played Supergirl in the (terrible) '80s movies will now be playing Kara's aunt ... which would be Superman's mom? I'm confused ... In other casting revelations, Dean Cain will also be joining the show to play a villain known as Dr. Knox.
Perhaps most excitingly, Gough revealed that Martian Manhunter will be a part of the plot. Gough also stated the writing will walk a line between "finding out more about him" and keeping him mysterious and enigmatic ... not exactly the easiest dynamic to pull off. Also making appearances are Green Arrow and an undisclosed, "new" JLA member that hasn't yet appeared on the show. Reader guesswork time: Who will the new JLA member to appear be?

@naimad: Mr. Wayne's rights are a little tied up in the movies right now, so he won't be showing up. The rest are fair game though. My guess? L-Ron.
I hope they bring back Flash and Aquaman though
