Doctor Strange to Remedy Movie Rumors?
This one is looking tentative at the moment, but the fanboy in me wants it to happen so badly that I will ignore my good sense and write about it. Rumors are circulating today that Marvel will be making a Doctor Strange live action feature film. IESB is claiming an exclusive reveal, but until it’s substantiated by another source, I’m calling it a rumor.
Dr. Strange would be an excellently adaptable character to the screen, particularly with the recent “magic-fantasy” boom in popular culture following the massively popular “The Lord of the Rings” and particularly the “Harry Potter” movies. Let’s face it, wizards are all the rage right now. Instead of messing around with childish stories and characters, however, this film would have a truly cosmic level sorcerer being awesome. This rumor hits on the day that Marvel released their full-length animated feature starring Doctor Strange (which got very positive reviews,) so hopefully there is something to this. We will be keeping an eye out for more announcements on this one….

Dr. Strange kicks ass. But for some reason i think Marvels gonna axe him.
I could definitely see a 'serious' Dr Strange movie... That would be a nice change from the kid wiz stuff flooding us these days. Incantations, demons, astral planes, and the devil horns magic hands :)
