Sin City 2 Delayed, Fans Cry in Dismay

Lost in the massive, chaotic shuffle of Comic-Con were many buried announcements that are just being sifted through in the last week. One such announcement that was missed (at least by me) was word on the greatly anticipated “Sin City 2” by Frank Miller.
Miller revealed that he and Rodriguez have written the script and are ready to shoot, but that “issues” relating to the Weinsteins have held up production. Given the rampant success of the first movie, as well as the success of Miller’s “300” adaptation, delaying the movie seems to be a major blunder for the studio.
This particular chapter of the Sin City story will be an adaptation of the “A Dame to Kill” story with some other short stories from the series thrown in for good measure. Let’s just hope that the Weinsteins can remove whatever road blocks are in the way for this production so they can get shooting. This one can’t get in the theaters fast enough for this fan.
