Cormac McCarthy on Toy Story 3

So I'm a few days behind the curve on this one, but it's no less valid. This past weekend while stumbling down St. Mark's fueled by bourbon and red bull (and Chinese food), I happened across the latest issue of Village Voice.

Contained within was a combination of two of the things most dear to me in all of creation: comic and Cormac McCarthy. Comic artist Ruben Bolling's McCarthy-esque imagining of "Toy Story 3" was, while not perfect, a fitting homage to the great word smith:

An Oprah-fueled frenzy of book sales for my latest novel, The Road. An upcoming movie adapting my No Country for Old Men. Intoxicated with success, I sit looking out at the stark desert, and it comes to me like a fever-dream. I must call my agent
