Spandex Overload: "JLA" Movie in the Works?
I’ve long said that the comic book movie that was in the most need of being made, out of the characters not yet tapped for a live-action movie, was "The Avengers." I would put "Justice League of America" as a close second. If the rumors are true, a live-action "JLA" movie may be happening.
Word has it that Kieran and Michele Mulroney have been tapped by D.C. to pen the script for the movie. One obvious question springing from this news is will Routh/Bale play Superman/Batman, as one would logically assume they would? So far, early word on the lineup places Superman, Batman, Flash, and Aquaman in the script, as well as Jon Stewart, although no solid word yet on who or what he plays.
