Rick Spears and Rob G at MoCCA
OK, I know I'm two weeks late in posting this, but hey, it's been a busy time here at Pulp Secret and Next New Networks. At any rate, MoCCA was a blast -- especially meeting some of the creators whose work we've covered on Pulp Secret shows, like Jeff Lemire and the good people at Top Shelf, my old friend Mike Cavallero, who showed up in our Act-i-Vate episode, and, pictured below, Rick Spears, with his Teenagers from Mars collaborator Rob G.
Casey reviewed Rick's book Pirates of Coney Island on A Comicbook Orange, and Rick loved it -- the episode's up on his blog and MySpace page right now. Rick and Rob G had just put out issue #1 of their new book Repo, which I picked up last week, and looks like a lot of fun. Here's a quick interview with them on the Publisher's Weekly site.
