And one minor point about super-heroes on B'Way "not yet": back in the 60's, there was a Superman musical that was fairly successful. The song "You've Got Possibilities" comes from that show. (Am I showing my age here or what!)
It's a Bird, It's a Plane starred Bob Holliday - they eventually did a TV version that starred Leslie Ann Warren as Lois Lane. And in the mid-80's there was talk of a Captain America musical - and Neal Adams was involved, as I recall, in a comic oriented play in the late 70's. Who knows - maybe this is the one that will get some heat.
