This was a lot of fun to watch. I can almost imagine reading comics again. Funny how long it took me to make the connection between reading comics and car sickness.

Better guys. The skits may need to be ditched..

This show was really entertaining, for a 6 year old...Her voice is annoying, and she sounds like she is reading these reviews off someone elses blog, for the first time. Ditch this crap and get Pulp Secret back!

      More good reviews...
and The Thing visual gag made me laugh out loud!

No, if they had used a sword on michael chiklis, now that would have been funny.

Why waste our time reviewing comics that suck? I've never understood why reviewers do this. When your time is limited to 3 or 4 reviews why not tell us whats good? I mean I could go into a comic shop and blindfold myself and pick out 50 comics that suck, wheres the skill in that? Tell us whats great, and why.

That was extremely good. I really liked Casey's rant. I don't think Papercuts is getting my $3 this month, even though the art didn't look so bad as all that... how cool would it be if Cory Doctorow did a Tales from the Crypt, though?

'the thing' skit was cool and the rant rocked! haha for zero oranges... you guys are funny

their comedy bits are terrible. alex pete and justin should ghost-write for them, cuz they need all the help they can get.

      Comic Book Club? Bueller.....Bueller.....Bueller.......

I think Casey is charming in her reviews and the skits (related to a good or bad comic). I actually prefer an honest review with the energy of a real comic book enthusiast. So what if it's hard on the bad stuff -- at least I know they're giving me the real deal.

I was just wondering if that "everyone's favorite character" comment about the silver surfer was some satirical statement gone awry? Cause the silver surfer sucks!

Really? What's not to love about a boring guy who rides around space on a surf-board, and is also boring?

    • footsore wrote on July 1, 11:28 pm

Well the original surfer, as scripted in kirby FF run, and then the solo book was great. I loved his dialog, both conversational and internal. But beyond the classics I was never too interested in the direction he took.

God you guys hit the nail on the head with the Tales from the Crypt review.. THANK YOU. I was excited to hear it was coming back, but 2 stories instead of 4? Doing what the old books in 8 pages in 20? WASTE OF TIME! Sheesh. These people need to get a clue

A Comicbook Orange: Amazons Attack, Ultimate Fantastic Four, Tales of the Crypt

Should you hide when Will Pfeifer and Pete Woods make DC's AMAZONS ATTACK!? How fantastic is Mike Carey's and Pasqual Ferry's turn on Marvel's Ultimate Fantastic Four? And what is the greater horror; the stories in Papercutz' new Tales of the Crypt series ... or the series itself?
