Not Necessarily The Stack
If you've watched the newest episode of The Stack up above, you might want to also check out this*:Part 1:

*And, on the off-chance that you're watching this before The Stack, well... You've probably figured out what's going on, anyway.

I totally agree with what you guys said about the new Batman. It's nuts (and exactly like watching a bunch of channels at once, LOL), and all over the place---and especially with the Batman title, it's hard to keep track of all the characters and everything's that happening---it's just choppy like Alex said. But also like Alex said, I think Morrison has some great ideas---it's just we can't fully understand them right now because he's not giving us enough to put it all together and see the whole picture.
However, I like the satellites for RIP. Detective has absolutely nothing to do with RIP, and so I understand Pete's complaint---but I actually LOVE Paul Dini on Detective right now. "Heart of Hush" is so much better and more enjoyable than RIP is, I think---it just doesn't make sense to label it an RIP tie-in. However, the other satellites are having a little more to do with the main storyline. I like that we're getting these different perspectives.
However, the continuity is a little crazy with RIP and its tie-ins. But it seems to me like what's happening in the Nightwing tie-ins is taking place BEFORE what's happening in the Robin tie-ins, and the Batman title is meshing in between. I say this because of what just happened in the latest Nightwing and the latest Robin with Swagman and Dick/Nightwing.
Will you guys still be posting shows on pulpsecret.com? 'cause i'm confused
Nope! Just YouTube, and eventually, a new home.
batchica, the reason they seem to be out of touch with the main rip storyline is because grant morrison has nothing to do with those stories and said at comic-con that he actually didn't know they were being made and has no idea what's happening in them. so there's a reason they're a little wonky heh.
Well, yeah: and I'm actually kind of glad, LOL! We get enough craziness from Grant Morrison on the Batman title ... :D
I had to re-read the entire Grant Morrison run from the beginning. Actually, as much as I hated RIP before, I think I'm starting to get it now. It does feel a little bit sloppy, but then it is all being written for the TPB format. Morrison's run is one continuous story and I don't see that RIP will resolve any pressing questions concerning the Black Glove or Simon "Thomas Wayne" Hurt.
i always give Robot from Invincible Skeletor's nasal whine. It fits so well.
being English means that i also give all comic book characters really bad American accents because the acting in my head sucks.
Will podcasts of "Not Necessarily the Stack" still be part of the Pulp Secret subscription podcast?
Pat
Nope!
hey guys, this "Diggnation-style" is cool, i would say you should go for it. (the audio doesn't seem great but it's easy to improve it)
i think 'the stack' will be posted on the 'the comic book club' podcast
Will TiVo continue to get THE STACK?
Nope! Sorry...
can you come to my home, in person, and do THE STACK, live in my living room?
So, I'm confused. For those of us who subscribe to the PulpSecret podcast via iTunes, will there be some new podcast we can subscribe to for Not-the-Stack? I tend to watch the show on my iPod at work, and they're not a fan of streaming media at the ol' workplace. I'll keep up via YouTube at home if it's the only option because the show's still great, but I really liked automatically getting new episodes on my iPod.
Wanted to second Safraz comments above. I also mainly watch via my iPod and would love it if you were able to keep a RSS feed alive. Thanks!
Why the move??? Was there a big fight with pulp secret over who would win in a fight wolverine or superman and pete bitch slapped the producers for calling wolverine a sissy???
PS I love the idea of you traveling to peoples living rooms and doing the show!
Yeah dammit! I love the Stack! What the hell is happening?
what happened with pulpsecret.com
has Pulp Secret like closed up shop?
PS I love the idea of you traveling to peoples living rooms and doing the show!
