Talking: Moon Knight #20

POSTED BY Pete LePage, 24 July 2008

Spoiler. Hey Moon Knights doesn’t suck. Moon Knight has turned me off lately. Yes he is fighting giant werewolves, but at least he is not talking to that dead guy in this comic. I wasn’t really into the Moon Knight being crazy or the talking to a dead guy no one else sees. This comic is a back to basis Moon Knight. I am excited for the Moon Knight to be a better comic. So, Moon Knight thoughts? Did you like this comic? Or when have you liked this comic?

Yep. Huge MK fan from the early days. I personally loved the first 14 issues of this series (but I am a huge Charlie Huston fan).
I was actually let down by this issue, however. I was expecting more POW for my money. The history these two characters have ... I thought would lead to a banging good comic. Instead, I got an okay issue :(

Well, it looks like just me and Pete on this title. WTF ?

I rather enjoyed the insane converstation of Moon Knight and Konshu. Issue 20 was a reprieve from the heavy/dark/gritty tone of the book, which was enjoyable but I look forward to further development of the split personalities of Moon Knight.

Pete, you're talking six kinds of crazy...Moonie aka loonie has always been a little out there. What's missing from Moonknight is the supernatural aspect. Huston and co. haven't played enough with is he crazy or is there a supernatural force involved?

I didn't like the fact Marc would split from his inner Khonshu so soon after he was drugged addicted to pain killers and re-habbed his knees enough to be able to stand again.
