I was on the fence about this movie, so I guess I'll just save my time and my money. Its still going to make loads of money. Which is a shame, I was hoping Wall-E would win at the box office for a few weeks...I don't know why I wanted that.
it's such a travesty that the next Iron Man movie will have to avoid the dunken super hero idea because this move already did it. Such a waste of a good plot.
I don't think it will have to avoid it, they set it up rather nicely in the first one, and I think this movie will be largely forgotten outside of the year.
There are gonna be a lot of pissed off people if its really that bad, and the trailers are that misleading. I've been having qualms about this for quite a while now simply because of the VAST amount of money they've spent on TV spots. I'd bet when boxofficemojo shows the advertising figures on it they are in the 100-150 million level, as opposed to the 30-50 million most others spend. When I see this much advertising of a film that really shouldn't need it I get worried.
that's really dis-heartening, i was actually really looking forward to this. i might still check it out if i have some spare time but I'm far less excited.
Okay just looking at the trailer....why would anyone think this film be any good? Glad it isnt good, although I wanna hear it from real critics from newspapers and the like. But still pretty good review of the film Alex.
Speed Racer I saw it, and it was great. I don't know what was wrong with it, the action is just mindblowing. The story was typical, you've seen this before as a kid in any family film. I had a great time with it.
WANTED was majorly awesome, best action movie of the summer. Definitely, the story makes no sense when it comes to the Loom of Fate, but it still has the "**** YOU" ending that the comic book has, and has very funny.
So, I think I've had my blockbuster fill for now, will miss Hancock, go see WALL-E, and then wait for Dark Knight! :D
intresting. i'm still gonna check this out- maybe more so now. i'm intrigued about this alternate story-line.
i can't wait to hear how bad this soundtrack is!

Yes, I forgot to mention that! Demon in a Bottle should be no problem after seeing this movie, trust me.
