Indiana Jones!
Spoiler. If you are a fan, it is a must see! There is a lot of shout outs to the other movies in this fun ride. Turn your brain off and just enjoy the ride. Sure there are a lot of moments that make you want to roll your eyes, but it is an action packed good time. I loved the Indy and Marion moments. I loved the go to school moments. Great Blow dart moment! I was surprised how into the wedding I was. Plus the hat moment after the wedding was hilarious. Everyone at the movie theater I saw it at was excited. We clapped at a lot of previews, during the movie, and at the end! What did you think?

Ok....here I go. I thought it...was...awful.
The only part I liked was the blow dart scene. thats the only time I felt like I was watching an Indiana Jones movie...I just thought it was boring, and hackey, and just not a good movie. Plus, Aliens? Really? I have spent so much time telling people why I didn't like it that at this point I am just tired of saying it. I have a podcast and we recorded an episode about it, if anyone cares I can post a link to it when it is posted.
I thought this Movie had it's share of great "Indy moments". However, as whole I was very disappointed. There is certain type of cheese factor I expect from Indiana Jones films, but this cheese factor seemed forced and over the top. Another thing I found out: Sci-Fi and Indiana Jones have nothing in common.
The CGI was so bad, the acting was worse, and I'm still wondering why any lets Lucas have a pen to write with. Didn't he destroy enough with the parts 1-3 of the Star Wars movies?
It was good. Tone was right, intent was clear, and execution was effective. I am feelin' it.
I agree completely. If you go in to the movie looking to complain, you are going to complain, but if you are looking to just have a good time and willing to look past a few iffy moments...this movie does the job. It is just fun.
I didn't go into the theater looking to complain, I went in expecting a good Indiana Jones movie and I was let down upon.

I think this is a good review.
I'm with Andy. Didn't go in looking to nitpick, but left wondering why they bothered to make this. It was a cash grab, sure, but it's a huge step down from the classic trilogy.
don't know what you people saw but indie 4 was a damn good movie. i just think people ask for too much and forget that its only entertainment and i was entertained.
i did feel that the alien thing was too far out for indie but i was amazed about how well it played out.
If it wasnt for the aliens and the dumbing down of the film i would have enjoyed it. It had some classic Indy moments in it.
But due to those points in the film i left the cinema feeling violated. Lucas can't make a good film anymore and Aliens are Spielbergs achilles heel.
