Pulp Secret

Brian K. Vaughn's Runaway's is being adapted into a feature film, for Marvel Studios, by... Wait for it... Brian K. Vaughn. Which only goes to show you, Marvel has its sh*t together, hardcore.

In other Runaways news, Humberto Ramos and Terry Moore's Runaways will be relaunching with a #1 in August, which implies that somehow, sometime, Joss Whedon's run will finish before that. Here's the cover from the new, #1:

YES!!!!! Well its about freaking time!! I cant wait to see who they cast for the runaways! Anyone got any ideas?

BKV's good but moor did top ten and i know some people don't like it but it was stil good and just because BKV is'int in the movie/book's you shoud at least read them there really good and the faked they put clock and dager in the book is great

Haven't read the book since BKV left, and that Ramos art isn't going to pull me in. Terrific that Vaughan is on the movie!

Michael, that is the cover for the new series by Terry Moore and Huberto Ramos, it doesn't have anything to do with the movie as far as I can tell..

oh HELL yes! i haven't caught up on whendon's run but the first three volumes of runaways blew my mind. it's great to hear that BVK's going to be heading this project. god knows when its coming out, but i can't wait.

yeah whedon really dropped the ball for me on this arc. i was beyond excited that my favorite joss whedon would be writing one of my favorite comics and he totally disappointed. it wouldn't be so bad except that on top of it we have to watch months for each issue to come out. just hurry up and get someone on the book who will keep it on schedule.

Oh I forgot Whedon was still writing this. I thought it was sub-par and dropped it after a couple issues. He just didn't really seem to have a grasp on any of the characters. And that whole Kingpin thing? I just didn't think it was very good.

whedon really needs to finish up asap. im sick of this crap schedule. im not hyped about moore taking over at all. i really miss BKV on this title. the first volume was really amazing stuff. runaways along with the walking dead is what got my back into comics. whedons run has been fine in my oppinion but its got nothing on BKV's run. but the fact hes on the movie is making me giddy! this simply has to kick many levels of arse. it just pains me it wont be coming out for a few years. how am i meant to wait that long!?
