Rumormill: More Battlestar TV Movies on the Dradis

Rumormill has it that Battlestar Galactica will be doing some made for TV movies. I'm kind of stuck on the series and looking forward to the prospect of more DVDs. The idea is that while the cast/crew are still around why not shoot more footage (with a good story of course). The movies wouldn't affect the continuity of the show proper of course. Just like BSG Razor last fall.

Another show to employ this model recently is Stargate SG1 (Another personal favorite). After the show ended it's 10 year run the producers made two direct-to-video releases. Are there any shows that you'd like to see do more self-contained movies?

Well the BG:Razor movie was kinda meh, so I only hope these are more poignant. I guess it depends how the series ends, and what they make the films about. I just hope their pursuit of more money doesnt make the series end differently than it was planned.

Journeyman should be done in TV movies. So should Traveler and Smallville [the Justice League characters].
