i had no idea that gaiman wrote that... mm, i have a bad feeling that this new segmant is going to result in lots of money being spent.
3 down, 362 to go!
I think that 1602 definetly got a bad rap. Yeah the ending wasn't the best, but its just fun to see all those analogues of characters we love. The political side of the story itself was a marvel to behold. Plus I think that Doc Strange = Sir Thomas Moore is hilarious. Plus the art is just beautiful.
I picked 1602 up recently and....it bored me to tears! It is interesting to see these modern characters in a puritan world...But it just feels like one of those 'Hey what happen if we put our characters in this situation?'
The ending was just plain confusing and stupid...if I wanted a cosmic ending then I would've read a Jack Kirby book. There was no reason, for me anyways, to go to a 1600 style Marvel book into a time/space sci-fi adventure at the end. It is written well, but it is just another line of 'why is Neil Giaman considered so great?' arguement.
"but it is just another line of 'why is Neil Giaman considered so great?' arguement."
...seriously?
Seriously....
Other then 'Sandman', I dont really see why people love so much of his works...He's just another sci-fi writer to me.
