Batman #676, the first chapter of the Batman RIP storyline, features a slick new Batmobile for the Dark Knight. If it's anything like the picture, it appears to be on fire inside the cockpit. The car also features some sweet rims if you look close...

Nice. I like how the 'World's Greatest Detective' somehow manages to somehow continually manufacture his own vehicles, whilst fighting crime 24/7!

In response to your comment, I remember in the Batman Animated Series there was an episode where they explained that Batman had a mechanic that built his vehichles for him after Batman saved his life. In that episode the Penguin kidnapped him and forced him to build him a "Penguin Mobile". A lot of those ideas for the t.v. series came from the comics. I can't remember whether or not that story came from the comics, but I do remember that there was a hunchbacked man named Harold who did the same for the caped crusader. But that character is dead (happened in the last issue of Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee's run on Batman).
Still it is amazing that Batman somehow has all of that time and energy to build those vehicles and save Gotham (not to mention all of the times he's had to save the world as well as lead the Outsiders AND go on adventures with the Justice League of America!!!).

That doesnt look like much of a design job, they just took a vette and gave it some gizmos, looks like a product placement ad to me.
