No, Vote McGinley!
Earlier, we told you to go vote for our friend Neil Kleid in Zuda Comics newest contest. Well, sadly, we have to remain non-partisan, and we got a similar letter from Brendan McGinley:
I'm currently engaged in a webcomics competition over at www.zudacomics.com. This is run by DC Comics, and is a great chance to make not only a little scratch, but a mark on the comics industry. My entry, HANNIBAL GOES TO ROME, is drawn by the talented Mauro Vargas, and we're doing pretty well, hovering around 1st and 2nd places. It's about the Carthaginian commander who made Rome quake in its sandals back in the 3rd century B.C. told with a bit of history, and a bit of humor, in the manner of the wonderful CARTOON HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE.
If you could very kindly give it a read, vote honestly, and leave a comment, all three actions factor into how HANNIBAL places in the competition: http://zudacomics.com/node/376
Believe me, I do apologize for the mass email, but what we have here is opportunity. Opportunity, like Hannibal and his elephants, to venture forth one day in May in search of glory. And if you live in proximity to me, I'll buy you a beer for your troubles.
