Richard Donner Lends his Talents to the DCU

Every time I think about Superman I think about the Christopher Reeve Superman. I suppose that's because I'm a child of the 80s. That and the Donner flicks were just so darn good. We'll just ignore the other "sequels" as heresy and focus on the good movie(s) (including the Donner Cut of Superman 2). It seems as though DC isn't finished with Mr. Donner yet, because he's lending his pen and paper to the Action Comics Annual #11 being released this wednesday. Now Action Comics has always been on my pull list, but this just makes the anticipation of reading it so much sweeter. Be sure to check it out. You can bet that this is a one time only event.

I think this finishes up the Donner/Johns-penned storyline that stopped happening a while back?
As much as I'd love to see more of Donner I don't think he'll be doing any more stories for DC in the near future.
This story was too delayed.
