Talking: The Executioner #1

Spoiler. OK so I had high hopes for this comic. But, I was let down. It was a bunch of low life’s talking about how badass another guy is. Not that exciting to me. I would not recommend this comic. Like they always say in improv, show don’t tell. Am I wrong? Is this a good comic? I am not a big fan of how this comic is drawn, or do I like the Punisher so much that I was just looking for ways to hate this comic. Thoughts?

I was just spooked by it the first time I saw this cover in an ad for it. I mean, I know it's a right-wing vigilante kind of series, but did they have to make him look like freakin' Bush? That's just creepy.

Well considering that Mack Bolan made his first appearance on the printed page in 1969's War Against The Mafia, its fair to say that Frank Castle is a rip off of him. Both Marines who served in Vietnam who's family were killed by Mafia men in Central Park...hmmm.

That said, I don't know if a Executioner comic will work since I would say a large portion of the Comic community has no idea who he is.
