NYCC Day Two Pictures Updated

POSTED BY Charlie Schneider, 20 April 2008

Sunday is winding down and I've just posted some photo updates from Day Two at New York Comic Con 2008. I have to say I really enjoyed the final day of New York Comic Con a lot. Friday may have been my favorite, but with the slightly decreased crowd it was much easier to get around and much easier to talk with the artists and other comic book creators. My only dissapointment was not bringing enough money to get sketches (or signing up for commissions early). For any who don't know (and that includes me) if you want an artist to do a medium sized or full-page sketch for you it's not really a question of money, it's a question of time. Good art takes time, and so you have to ask for one or sign up on a list on the first day of the Con. You'll be well rewarded for your patience. I only realized how bad I wanted one after passing by Ethan Van Sciver's booth in Artist's Alley and glancing at his Sinestro Corps War sketchbook. Oh, well there's always San Diego Comic Con.

Enjoy the pictures, I'll be updating them throughout the remainder of the weekend and next week.
