I recall a podcast from San Diego Comic Con 2007 I listened to recently. It was a taping of a comic panel including Joeph Loeb and some of his more noteable contemporaries at DC. During the course of the Q&A, a fan asked about the apparent end of the western-themed comic. I think the answer the fan got was a little vague, but I'm sure today he's thanking his lucky stars because a classic western property is getting the graphical treatment it deserves.

"The Man With No Name" character is getting his own title courtesy of Dyamite Entertainment. Fans remember the character from the Sergio Leone "Dollars Trilogy" of films and Clint Eastwood's iconic portrayal of the Man With No Name. The comic is titled Man With No Name: The Good, The Bad And The Uglier #1, and is written by Christos Gage and draw by Wellington Dias. Fans will be able to pick it up in May. Here are a few helpful links for those seeking more information about the new title:

Hell. YES. I love spagetti westerns, and Clint Eastwood's were amazing. Hopefully the comics will live up to the good old movies.
