Batman Viral Marketing Re-calibrates

    As we all know, the entire Dark Knight viral marketing campaign was built around Heath Ledger's Joker. With his unfortunate passing, we're seeing a complete re-calibration of the campaign around Aaron Eckhart's Harvey Dent (a.k.a., Two-Face). Though Warners claims this was the plan all along, let's be honest: It wasn't. That being said, if they can keep it as fun and successful as they did before, then bully for them.

    The first phase has launched over at IBelieveInHarveyDent.com, asking you to enter your e-mail address and phone number. Once you do, you get a confirmation e-mail that reads:

    Citizens of Gotham! The future of our city rests in your hands!

    Alone, we are helpless against the thugs and killers menacing our city.

    Together, we have the power to take back Gotham.

    In just a few days, you'll find out how.

    So, nothing other than that yet, but we can certainly speculate what it will lead up to... A picture of Two-Face, perhaps?
