Congrats to Pulp Secret reader Stu, who won
our most recent contest, and gets a shiny new copy of DC's Justice League: The New Frontier! Here's Stu's letter, and thanks to everybody who entered.
The JLA and Me: As a child of the sixties, it’s the Silver Age Justice League that is nearest and dearest to my heart. Like the accretion of the Silver Age Superman and Batman families and mythos, the JLA also built slowly with its battles against Starro the Conquerer and Amazo, inviting new members to join. Wow, I remember when they invited Hawkman to join the club. The splash certificate. Then there was the image of Green Lantern giving the JLA members green wings in honor of the new member. Now that’s comics, baby!
You are the best in what you do: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Flash, Aquaman.
Be a hero and stand up for justice, find friends, join a cool club.
