Messiah Complex

    I have been loving this arc. Every comic has been solid. It is well written and the art rocks. The question is how does it stack up? Could Messiah complex be one of the greats? I would say so. So what is your top 3? My top 3 right now, 3. Y the Last Man 2. Messiah Complex 1. Punisher Max Garth Ennis’s run has been amazing. How about you? Top 3 right now?

      Reverse order for teh headaches. HOooooooo

      1) tHE WALKING DEAD. it may be seen as a bit of an obvious choice but this comic rocks my cock. i am allways gagging for more. even when people were bitching about it going a bit slow i was just enjoying the ride. a great book for any aspiring writer to read. great just to actually care about wether people live or die.
      2) i have to agree with Y the last man. just pegs it to number two.JUST behind The walking dead. this comic frigging rocks! i caught onto it SO late. and im very sad ive missed the anticipation every month but it is SO friggin well written. and how could you hate anything with a monkey with such a cool name as ampersand. how could you hate monkeys for that matter.
      3) right now im totally gagging for my fix of messiah complex every week. but number three (just ahead of messiah complex) is green arrow and black canary. id actually be tempted to give them both third place but that would be a weak ass cop out. i love green arrow. he wears green. and fires arrows. i can get behind that.

      and if you would allow me id like to give my other MUST read books.

      Black Summer: if you arent reading this you are a damned fool! its been a short run but this is such a good comic. if you havent read it, catch up and get ready to salivate. great art. great story. MUST READ!
      Penance-relentless: another great story. great art. and a really cool moment when he enters a missle silo in book number three. i actually guffawed. good show.
      Fear agent: the earlier image run was a cool piece. but somehow when they switched to dark horse it just picked up a little for me. i liked the characters. but i didnt know why. then when they looked back on what happened in the battle for earth i was blown away.

      and my wild card choice of MUST pick up stuff is The pirates of coney island. im not an emo. or a pirate. but i enjoy this book a lot. may be one for the cooler kids but i dig it. gangs sex and lots of blood. and a friggin vampire car! gotta love that. give it a go. you may like it.

      sorry. maybe i should just write a blog lol :p
