The Gladiator/Superman Connection
Sue me, I'm stretched for news today, but have you guys been watching the totally awesome reboot of American Gladiators? Show is f-in intense. And awesome. And fun.
Of the new Gladiators, one of my favorites is Titan, aka Mike O'Hearn, who looks like a real-life super-hero. HOW RIGHT I WAS! Turns out, I actually recognized O'Hearn from a previous appearance as Superman in "World's Finest," the follow up to the awesome short "Batman: Dead End." Check it out below:

C'mon, Gladiators is bad television at its worst. It would have never seen the light of day if the WGA hadn't gone on strike.
I gotta agree about American Gladiators being some might bad TV. I watched some of it, and for a few minutes, I thought I had travelled back to the '80's. (The fact that I was wearing acid washed jeans at the time didn't help.)
Ooops! I meant "mighty bad TV."
The announcer voice-over work alone is beyond horrible. Its like some out of work wrestling announcer from the 70's finally got a job. I watched the first show, and was almost dumbfounded by how little it had evolved from its origin. On top of all the bad acting, bad interviews, and bad announcing, was the disturbing violence of some of the events. If this show continues someone is gonna get killed on it. We dont need this stuff on network primetime.
I saw Batman Dead end and now World's Finest!!! Give the guys the contract for the next movie !!!! Good Job!
Truth! Mike and the Guy that played Batman ( Clark Brentham, Former Mr. MetRx) NEED TO BE BATMAN AND SUPERMAN in a big screen adaptation!!! The guy that made these movies is Sandy Carolla and he's totaly awsome!!!
