Mondays Are For Movies

POSTED BY Alex Zalben, 07 January 2008

Did everybody have a good weekend? I was up late playing Super Mario Galaxy all night, and probably need a few more Star-Bits to keep my eyes open. I MEAN COFFEE. Oh god.

    • Marlon Wayans, who you may know best for his work in Requiem for a Dream, has joined the all-star cast of G.I. Joe, which also includes Sienna Miller, Ray Park, and possibly Joseph Gordon-Levitt. (Via)
    • Finally, the question we've all been asking has been answered: Who will be playing Iron Man's father? (Via)
    • Scenic Artist Billy Shannon is heading off to Australia to work on the JLA sets. I wonder if anyone told him the movie isn't happening anymore? I also wonder if anyone told him that his website is stuck in 1995... (Via)
    • Aint-It-Cool has a follow up on just how connected The Hulk and Iron Man might be... (Via)
    • Finally, the REAL trailer for "The Dark Knight":

I still say Burgess Meredith was the best Penguin ever.

I say if they want to make an Avengers movie, then its the best idea to show a solo movie with all the original members first. So now we have Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-Man, Thor and Captain America...so probably by 2013 we'll get the Avengers movie.

Its a great idea to link Nick Fury to all these movies if it happens. A nice, subtle way to show that all of these characters are connected for a reason. This is alot better then how JLA is shaping up.
