Scott Pilgrim's Cousins?

Check out these long buried sketches from a never made comic by Scott Pilgrim creator Brian Lee O'Malley! Here is what he says about them:

"Street Stupid" is a story idea that grew out of my unfinished webcomic Locked in the Trunk of a Car. I think I started putting the idea together for a pitch to the then-unnamed Minx line that DC was planning in 2004. That fell through, and anyway, I was working on this little book called Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life, which started taking up more of my time.

I did these sketches in 2005, thinking I might take a break after SP V3 and do something else. I couldn't quite get a handle on the story and I started to think it was a bad idea to deviate from the Pilgrim series - how many years could it possibly take? A million, I think. So I'm trying to power through. I might pick this idea up again at some far-off future date, but until then I'm just leaving these sketches for posterity. (The finished piece was coloured by Eisu.)
