What Would You Do?
Spoilcity: This is the first issue of Hero by Night and it is a good one. It also was the 2006 Comic Book Challenge winner. A guy who is a landlord finds a secret lair in his building. It belonged to a real superhero and in it he finds all this cool stuff. So his fiancée tries to sell it on eBay. A villain of the old hero finds out and captures said fiancée. So our boy has to put on the Hero outfit and get her back, which he does. But the interesting thing is the comic starts after he saves her. Now he has to go back to being a normal guy. What would you do if you stumbled across a secret lair? I tell you what I wouldn’t try selling it on eBay. I would probably tell Rosalind (Fiancée) sorry baby wedding is off I am going to start my training and it will be safer for the both of us if we weren’t married. Or I would say listen would you be cool if I took up crime fighting? Because if not the wedding might be off. Anywho, this could be a really good comic, I know I am defiantly going to get the next issue.

Sounds like a fun premise, a little different than green lantern, or hobgoblin, and other similar stories that used the found powers gimmick. I know I wouldnt eBay an Iron Man suit if I found it, but I'd look silly in a spandex body suit.
