G4's "Fresh Ink" Reviews

POSTED BY Manny Mederos, 03 December 2007

This week, G4's Blair Butler gives her take on a handful of comic books from the past week, including "All Star Batman and Robin" by Jim Lee and Frank Miller. I have to agree that I'm not even sure where this title is really going. It seems like each issue never relates or ties in with one another, but yet I find myself still picking it up everytime it's out hoping it will get better. She also gives a nice review on the "Walking Dead" #44 and "The Green Lantern Corps." I really loved both of these issues and if you haven't read them make sure you do!

A new "Fresh Ink Online" is available over at G4TV.com's site every Friday.

green lantern, walking dead, Hack/Slash, G4, Fresh Ink, Corpse

I'm almost sad to say, I liked it. It wasnt that dumbed down crap that most G4 programs are. I actually believed that she reads and cares about comics, something casey NEVER pulled off on CBO. The show was actually about the comics too, not about the host or the producers CGI skills, something else CBO never pulled off. Its a good thing this video podcast isnt in the voting on that poll from the forums...

I've been watching Fresh Ink online for a couple of months and I do like it. Comic Book Orange was definitely more entertaining, but they recently lost their cred with me after giving Ex Machina a 3 out of 5.
