Hey, what's Greg Rucka's excellent graphic novel, Whiteout, about? Seaplanes, sunglasses, and a black text, right? Good, because here's the new poster:

Ad Exec #1: So the movie is called Whiteout, it's set in Antarctica during a snowstorm, and is about the first murder ever committed there. Now, of course, we want to highlight our star, probably want to have a lot of stark white on the poster--
Ad Exec #2: What if it was black?
Ad Exec #1: What?
Ad Exec #2: Everyone is expecting it would be a white poster, so what if it was black?
Ad Exec #1: Okay...
Ad Exec#2: And everybody is expecting we'll emphasize the fact that it's about a murder, but what if instead we make it seem like Kate Beckinsale is a tough as nails seaplane captain who doesn't play by the rules?
Ad Exec #1: She's not.
Ad Exec #2: But what if we did?
Ad Exec #1: Ummm...
Ad exec #2: Great, I'll get the art department right on it.
