Who Would Win?

Hulk smash Avengers!  That's one of the big draws of "World War Hulk", as Dan Slott explains on today's Pulp Secret Report.  Puts me in mind of some of my favorite rounds of everyone's favorite fanboy game, "WHO WOULD WIN".

"Who Would Win" discussions are dangerous territory. What can start out as a friendly, semi-ironic conversation between friends can quickly become embarrassingly heated arguments.

Case in point - last Halloween, I observed that the most popular costumes for kids in my neighborhood were Superman and Darth Vader - this naturually led me to wonder aloud who would win in a fight between these titans of geekdom. I thought it was a pretty good match, but when I posed the question to my friends their responses tended to run along the lines of "OMG SUPERMAN FTW R U SERIOUS?!" O well.

The best thing to come out of the conversation was this stunningly insightful piece of artwork, only recently completed, which illustrates how Supes' heat-vision would be POWERLESS against the Dark Side.

Any one else out there have any good "who would win" matchups?  Give in to your fandom!  The most imaginative match-ups might even get illustrated in our soon to be famous drawn-with-a-mouse illustrative style......limited edition prints and woodblock carvings available!
