Why So Secretive?

POSTED BY Chris Rudolph, 29 October 2007

WhySoSerious.com, "The Dark Knight" website that was unveiled at this summer's San Diego Comic Con has had a vague image when you log on for the last couple of weeks...a very Joker-ish looking Jak O' Lantern. As the days have progressed, the pumpkin's smile has slowly been burning and melting away to what now looks very simliar to a certain TWO-FACED villain...hmmmmm....

Fans have been discussing this Jack O'Lantern for weeks now, speculating on what will happen come Halloween, and all I'm saying is that it better be good. With all this talk of the "Dark Knight" teaser trailer coming, and the countdown to the Geekiest Year yet ("Dark Knight," "Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man," etc...) well on it's way, fans are going crazy for any news on the next Batman movie. What do you guys think all this pumpkin foolery will lead to?

Wow, Batman fans have no life if watching a pumpkin deteriorate is the hot topic of conversation.

The marketing campaign for this movie has been great so far. Even w/ the absence of a teaser poster, fans have been drooling over every small detail and every scrap of info. The "Whysoserious" site gives the fans just enough to keep them thinking about the much anticipated movie non stop. Most important are the gems for the fanboys. (the pumpkin is from THE LONG HALLOWEEN)

Just so everyone knows, the warner bros site now links to a pick of Aaron Eckhart in front of a flag with the words: "Harvey Dent for District Attorney"
