Garofalo Hearts Yorick
J. Garf is a geek! This past week's episode of Bill Maher featured the panel discussing Sally Field's recent censored Emmy speech where she said "If mothers ruled the world there would be no wars". When this topic is brought up Janeane talks briefly about "Y: The Last Man" and how great of a graphic novel it is! I've always had a fondness for Ms. Garofalo, and when I think of her, memories of "Truth About Cats & Dogs" and "Romy & Michele" dance around in my head. Maybe she grew a fondness for comics after being in "Mystery Men," but however she became a geek, it's nice to know that when she isn't debating Republicans she's snugglin' up with Yorick and Agent 355. The "Y" talk is at the 3:40 mark of the above video.

I saw this last weekend, it seems quite a few comics are comic book fans. It would be insteresting to see just how many are, and if there is some underlying reason behind it.
