    SPAK! SKREEEEESH! KRONG!

Did you know that comic book publishers employee a person whose sole responsibility it is to sit around developing newer, more visceral action words? Well, it's true. Honestly.

OK, not really, but poring through the literally tens of comic books that we do each day, got us thinking about these little bits of comics that make our lives so much more exciting.

Where do they come from? Is there any limit to how many times "KERSPLAT!" can be used in a series? We recently setoff on a tireless mission to answer these timeless comic secrets.

Unfortunately, we were almost immediately sidetracked by the "Superman: Doomsday" animated film. So instead of an exhaustive analysis of the origins of action words, we lazily instead decided to make a video depicting action words through the ages.

    KAPOW!
